🧭 THIS WEEK AT BuildProven
Howdy, so I think it’s one year now! Surely I should have massive promotions, sales and yahoo but whatever, let’s just keep building. This week is just some stuff I’ve learnt the last year.
Last month or two I’ve been messing around with OpenClaw a lot. I have found that AI building tools, Claude Code etc are completely not ready for agent based systems that work in real time. A definite mess!
Really would like it if you could share this newsletter, thanks!
🧰 Worth Your Click
Here are a few things I found recently:
Clearly - MD editor! 🙂
Karpathy [SW guy/guru!] inspired Claude Skills
Claude Code has been a bit of a dogs breakfast recently - details here
Plan do check act repo
🗺️ FEATURED INSIGHT
So, over one year, some thoughts:
AI is the biggest thing since the original PC. I am pretty sure that at the time of the PC, some people were against it, but sorry, too bad - it’s here!!
In your work, take simple steps to learn how it can help -
summarise large documents / PDFs
summarise large email threads
collate team status statements and summarise into weekly report - remove / delete team meeting!
build an agent as a source of truth for a particular topic - risks, actions, thread xyz - have an agent own that area to help you
generate ideas and concepts from a problem statement
create a project knowledge expert - an agent that has multiple documents as knowledge, useable by your full team
many different use cases and ideas within different domains
purchasing - a price expert/agent for a certain widget
SW - expert on scrum team xyz available for Q&A
…
What stands in the way of all of this is corporate IT and corporate processes! Those who are quick and agile will succeed.
